Utility & Marine

No matter what your job involves-or what type of environment it’s in- Winzinger can handle it. Our expertise extends to such highly specialized areas as utility installation and marine demolition and construction.

We have successfully constructed regional sewer and water systems-some as long as 27 miles-that wind their way under major highways, through residential areas and across environmentally sensitive sites. Like all Winzinger jobs, these projects are managed with close attention to regulatory and other details, with an emphasis on long-lasting quality and respect for the customer’s budgets and deadlines.

We bring the same values and equally strong abilities to marine construction. Demolition of the Bayonne Bridge, linking New Jersey with Staten Island, was achieved without disrupting river traffic on the busy waterway below.

Other noteworthy marine projects have included the removal of Atlantic City’s decaying million dollar and steel piers to make way for modern shopping and dining facilities.

We have applied our knowledge of marine construction to the riverfront as well, where we have constructed outfall lines for such clients as Monsanto chemical, the Morrisville (Pennsylvania) water plant and Mobil Oil. One such project stretched nearly halfway across the Delaware River.
